Jamie Lowes studied fine art and painting at Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute in Utica, NY.

Living just outside Rochester, NY, with his wife and two daughters, Jamie has displayed pieces at many

local galleries. 2013 begins a new focus on more esoteric themes that still permeate many current works.

Lowes embarked on this new phase with a one-man show at The Gallery at 'Plastic' Designer Toys followed

by successful stints at Barnes & Noble, Starry Nights Cafe, private showings, a rewarding pop-up show at

Vintage Electric Tattoo and most recently a return engagement at Art Museum of Rochester (AMoR).

Focusing on form and design the artist showcases organic and other-worldly, imaginative figurative and

abstract work along with expressive mixed media drawings and paintings.
